Linda's Bio
As owner/operator of WHALEN'S COUNTRY CHILDCARE, Linda draws on her experiences with children for her passion...writing and illustrating. Her first book, an adult book of inspiration... THE VALLEY OF CHILDHOOD. As much of her life is spent caring for children, her focus in writing shifted to children and middle grade readers.
Linda has been interviewed in National media and still gives talks for her adult book, THE VALLEY OF CHILDHOOD.
Linda is a wife, mother, religious education teacher, and a spiritual leader in her community. She is a graduate of the Scripture Institute at the Stockton School of Ministry, Stockton Diocese. While all these are important aspects of Linda's life, at the core of her being she holds dear the awe of wonder seen in the eyes of a child, and hopes she will forever be inspired by the sight.
Her writing has been described as
